Fee Schedule

Draft for accountant and counsel review. Test mode: no real money moves. This page is the single reference for how money is split in the app; other pages and terms point here.

The rule

  • Creators get 70% of gross. Gross is what the buyer or gifter pays, before any fee.
  • The app keeps 30% of gross.
  • Processing and store fees come out of the creators' 70%. In test mode, previews use the card estimate of 2.9% + $0.30.
  • Collaborators split the creators' net by the credit shares they agreed to (they must add up to 100%).
  • Amounts are kept in whole cents. A rounding remainder goes to the app.

Order of calculation

  1. Gross (what the buyer pays)
  2. Refunds (taken off gross, the split is recomputed on what remains)
  3. App share: 30% of the remaining gross
  4. Creators' share: 70% of the remaining gross
  5. Fees: processing, store and dispute fees, taken from the creators' share
  6. Creators' net, divided by credit shares

Sales tax or VAT handling is not set yet and will be added after review.

Worked examples

CaseGrossApp (30%)Creators (70%)Est. feesCreators' net
$1.00 sale$1.00$0.30$0.70$0.33$0.37
$10.00 sale$10.00$3.00$7.00$0.59$6.41
$50.00 booking$50.00$15.00$35.00$1.75$33.25

Refunds and chargebacks

  • Partial refund: the split is recomputed on the gross that remains. Processing fees already charged are not returned by the processor and stay with the creators' share.
  • Chargeback: the full sale is reversed, and the dispute fee (currently $15.00) comes out of the creators' share.

Cash-out

  • The minimum cash-out is $20.00 of available net.
  • Payouts need identity verification and a connected payout account.
